This juvenile Painted Turtle was found by my mother
Its actual size was just slightly larger than a Canadian quarter
It was walking across a roadway in a local park (Malden Park)
My mom rescued it from danger and brought it home
Sharon and I returned it back to the wild shortly thereafter
To a safer place in our local wildlife preserve, Ojibway Park, where Painted Turtles are indigenous
Of course, we had to take a few photos of him first. :)
