This is Al-Kindi Plaza, which was the closest thing we had to a shopping center when we lived on the Diplomatic Quarter, although all it really had for us was our dry cleaners and a small grocery store. The large complex also had offices, a sizeable mosque and the Palace of Culture. That’s why I find the 1364 shopping center, with real stores, in the below/next picture to be so amazing.
