Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas, FNQ

Port Douglas is a town on the Coral Sea in the tropical far north of Queensland. It's known for its beach resorts and as a base for visits to both the Great Barrier Reef, the world's largest reef system, and Daintree National Park, home to biodiverse rainforest. Curving south is popular Four Mile Beach. (Google)

An idyllic beach. Unfortunately, development continues to develop.

That is a really pretty beach, sorry to hear there are a ton of resorts behind it now. Looks very quiet the day you were there. V

The beach looks much the same these days, but alas behind it is a megalopolis of resorts.

this ticks a lot of boxes for a tropical paradise..,good idea to choose portrait format, going with the flow of the palms..
