Back to the front of the mansion, whose roof was topped with eagles. I suspect the smaller ones were meant to keep real birds from gathering on it.
I’m just uploading my last five pictures for this gallery all at once since they’re not particularly important, but I like them for one reason or another. I actually have many more, but I think I’ve given a good idea of how spectacular this estate was. We also have become members so can go back any time we want for free (which is good since the donation to get in was pretty high). The deciding factor was a dog walk on the grounds for members only every Sunday morning, which would be great if I could just get away from work early!
Anyway, thanks for all the interest in this gallery! I have a feeling it will grow even more in the future ;-).
