A sight for sore eyes

Wow, it’s snowing here! I have missed snow so much, having lived in the middle of the Arabian Desert for the past three years, and especially after Budapest, where we were under snow for four months of the year. This is the view from Tim’s office, located in the rear of the house.

I definitely have a love-hate relationship with snow. It depends on whether or not I have to shovel it or go out in it. I like this view a lot. You have a very elegant backyard. ~BV~

Beautiful coating of winter whiteness. Seeing the snow falling is a fine plus, Helen. V

We always miss what we don't have but too much of it and it becomes ordinary.
You would like our winter in Vancouver this year, we have had more snow
this year than in the past 10 years. V

I love the texture that the snow adds and the wonderful way that you captured it ~V~

We are also enjoying the results of the same storm here. A very nice POV, strong composition, great perspective and exposure capturing the falling snow. V

Snow is a nice change, as long as it doesn't last too long. V

We received about the same amount of snow last night and afterwards rain which turned into ice. Not pleasant at all.

I would love to have snow from time to time here. But we are really unprepared and last time it snowed for a short period everything was in chaos.V

Glad you got your snow. Nice picture too. We had 22 degrees last night. I had to cover all of my plants and pick my fruit in the dark before the freeze. Tonight will be just as cold, and then we go back to 70. V
