Smithsonian Castle

This is the Castle, headquarters of the Smithsonian Institution. Unfortunately, the rest of the building to the left had a big scaffolding on it. I just realized that I forgot to change my camera from Saudi to US time, so this wasn’t taken at midnight ;-).

This is one sight we never discovered when visiting Washington in past years. Very nicely composed and a nice warm light for this time of year - and no sign of any scaffolding!
