Translating

While we were waiting for prayers to be over, we were given a talk on the beauties of the Al Bahah region. The man on the left was our host at their pavilion, while the one of the right was part of and in charge of our group. He is Saudi but US born and sounds more American than I do. Also a very nice and quite expressive person who gave me his shemagh (head covering) to wear as a shawl since I was so cold later on.

I just found out from a notification to US citizens here that media reports have alleged that terrorist attacks were aimed at this festival, although the authorities have reportedly thwarted the alleged attack plans. Good thing we went when we did, because we wouldn’t be able to go now…

Prayer time at Al Bahah, posted earlier.

Your low angle of capture and the expressiveness of this image make this a striking capture. I really like the spontaneity of this shot a great deal. Voted
