In the previous series " Love is in the air", Hoodie, desperate for love and affection, cozies up to the Goldeneye girls as there are no female Hoodies around, only to be rebuffed by the Goldeneye boys. (See http://www.pbase.com/hankvv/image/111049408 for image #1 of this first series.)
