Weevils have wings too.

This is what happens with "shutter lag"- it ended up being quite an interesting effect though. I could have frozen the movement with
flash, but until I realised the wee beastie was about to take off, there was adequate available light for photography. This weevil was
reluctant to try taking off from anything except a very high point, and had crawled about quite happily for ages on my hand, twigs,
and surrounding environment. I suspected that it might be about to fly when it started "walking on the spot", but didn't quite get the
shot off in time.
