Wattle weevil, Curculionidae, Chrysolopus spectabilis

Kanangra Boyd National Park, NSW

I have always liked weevils, which are beetles of the family Curculionidae. It is one thing I have in common with a/the creator.
Weevils are the most diverse and prolific group of insects, with hundreds of thousands of species found across the world.

Many thanks for showing the ID of this one that I encountered in Port Macquarrie once. A great shot!
