10 May
chink

You've seen this glass ice *before* but I was without inspiration tonight, the photos I took today weren't very good, and I feel tired... then I saw the 'ice' tucked away in a drawer.

nice contrast of the background and the blue reflections picked up in the cubes
Guest 11-May-2005 21:04
Well worth another look

Love the background, it really makes the glass and the 'ice' stand out.

Like how the colors picked up here.. a cool shot..
Gary Winters11-May-2005 03:20
This must be what they call dry ice then, right? LOL

Great shot!

My thought exactly, Tom. Ice in a drawer? Nice shot of the glass and ice. Always fun to come here!
Guest 10-May-2005 23:42
Gotta love that ice you can keep in a drawer : )
I agree it needs a little Scotch, and this ice
would work fine since I don't use ice, ha ha...
Guest 10-May-2005 22:58
I've got to get me some of that "ice!" I like the colorful reflections they give.
Chris Sofopoulos10-May-2005 22:52
I like it Gail. The colours gives another perspective to the transparent ice cubes! Gail has always inspiration even if some nights "thinks" that she hasn't..

Colours are great Gail.
Guest 10-May-2005 22:15
But where's the scotch? LOL!! I love the blue reflection in the ice.
Linda Alstead10-May-2005 22:03
we've got some of this too - nice treatment!
Ric Yates10-May-2005 21:30
Great shot - the touches of blue really make the picture.

An interesting one, wondering where those other colours come from.
David Clunas10-May-2005 21:22
like the reflection on the cube outside the glass
Lee Rudd10-May-2005 21:19
cool :) I like the colouring that the 'ice' has picked up
Guest 10-May-2005 21:12
the reflections are cool in the ice cube
Zak10-May-2005 21:11
just add 'water' ;-)
Vinh Luu10-May-2005 21:05
the colors are interesting. it's a very pink scene, and yet there are traces of blue and green in the cubes. image quality is higher than the last time too if i recall; it's definitely sharper, no doubt attributed to stopping down to f/8.
