parking

another shot from the bus (hence the blurry splodge in the middle - why don't they clean the windows). Should you wish to take up the Trafalgar Square parking shown on the sign it'll cost you £5.50 an hour (plus the £5 per day congestion charge). Or you can take my splendid bus for about £1.20 per journey.

Canon PowerShot A80
1/80s f/3.5 at 13.6mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

the expense!

It costs $2.50 CDN to get around in Toronto on the bus. The price has gone up so many times :(

On a double decker bus? Nice to see other parts of the world.

I agree with Chris, I really like your city shots, they seem to give a very good flavor to the eviron. They are interesting.

It is cheaper to fly down for the ay from Edinburgh, than drive in and park !

I like these city shots. I wants more:) To have a "smell" of London!
Guest 12-May-2005 08:17

Guest 12-May-2005 05:39
yeah, I just learned about congestion class in class this past semester, it sucks, but its there to create more effiency so ive been told. hehe. I wish I was in London : (
Guest 12-May-2005 04:38

i thought we had it bad in toronto.
Guest 12-May-2005 03:04
Parking charges are outrageous...you're smart to take the bus,Gail. I like that photographer on the right corner. :)

A busy day in London town...forgetting the splodge it's a nice photo.
Lee Rudd11-May-2005 21:22
and the parking is as close as southern Spain! I've not driven in central London for years, and have no wish to start again any time soon.
Sheena Woodhead11-May-2005 21:14
I can't imagine anyone wanting to drive in London anyway, especially if they have to pay the extortionate parking fees.
Zak11-May-2005 21:11
cheap parking!! (not!) :-o
Guest 11-May-2005 21:06
I wonder how many random shots would include a photographer these days (not that this is random)
Ian Clowes11-May-2005 21:05
John beat me to it.... but you do wonder! You always sit upstairs? Maybe try a shot from the lower deck :)
Vinh Luu11-May-2005 21:01
ouch... those parking rates are even higher than parking San Francisco!

:) do you notice the person taking a photo in the lower-right corner? photographers everywhere.
