Ready to Go

This isn't the most exciting picture, but one of the few that I had a chance to take today. We are all packed up and ready to go. Our family caravan will leave in the morning.

Heard through Gayle's posts that you're safe - fantastic news. I realise you'll be going home to 'who knows what', and will be thinking of you all.

I doubt you'll be reading this comment... hopefully you are on the road and heading for safety. I pray that your home will escape with little damage. When I experienced Isabel a few years ago, it brought the best (and worst of mankind), but it is the best that I remember. Stay safe... you, and all who are in southern LA are in my prayers. Looking forward to your post on the other side of this.

it looks about as secure as you could make it. We'll be directing our most positive thoughts all the way down there from Minneapolis.

Good luck. It must be awful to leave your home not knowing what will happen. But keep in mind they're ofter so wrong about these hurricane tracks.

I hope that your family is safe and that the hurricane misses your home. It looks like you are as ready as can be. Be safe. I will be thinking about all of you in the path.
