5/1/07 - Middle Prong of the Little River

Great Smoky Mountain National Park - 2+ miles above the Tremont Institute
As I explained yesterday, I'm a sucker for incorporating fences into my images. Strictly speaking this is a timber guardrail on a one lane bridge - but close enough.
It was raining which really brought out the green in the scene (and gave a nice even lighting). I shot lots & lots of the stereotype silky water images while at the Smokies - but so has everyone else probably millions of times. This is my attempt to make an image that's not the same as the other 999,999.

Nikon D70

This is wonderful, I like the guardrail added like framing. I'm nver bored at silky smooth water, really soothing feeling, Ed. big vote.
