2/05 Juried Exhibit; PAD 11/6/04 - Gold in them thar hills

Juried in - Meadowlark Botanical Gardens North American Nature Photo Exhibit

I like the lines and shapes formed by the sun & shadows on these ridges - and the drops of gold amidst the winter brown adds to the mix. This is the absolute end for color this fall in the Shenandoahs. I put ten shots from today in my Shenandoah gallery http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/snp but after reading some Freeman Patterson trying to get inspired for the upcoming drab outdoor season this one appealed most.

OK, adding the Shenendoah Valley on the short list of must see places. Beautiful hills.

I like the rolls and folds of the hills there.
