Adana demonstration

I haven't got a clue what it was all about (26-3-2005), some people shouted that Allah is great, but to let the world know this seemed not to be the reason for the demonstration. But it made for some nice pictures.

Great photos..thanx..those demonstrations kinda reminds me of a circumcision ceremony..2 kids out of a car....or another idea..can be a parade of a political party meeting ..Like said before, yeah, we do like to make fuss abt pretty much everything.

As I wrote in a separate e-mail I am convinced this was a demonstration, the size was too huge for the farewell ceremonies, of which I have seen many.

I've heard about your site from an article in the Turkish newspaper Radikal http://www.radikal.com.tr/haber.php?haberno=177205). I'd like to thank you for all these marvellous photos from your journeys.
As for the picture titled "41525790.Adanademonstration8553", it may be the case that there was a goodbye-ceremony among family members-neighbours-friends for an 18 year-old to start his military obligation. But again, I am not sure; we are turkish, we can make fuss about anything!!
