This is referred as Chamber 1, and it was placed in the corner of a Hittite time pond/dam. The next picture shows the Chamber 2 which was in the other corner of the wall of the pond/dam. They were built by Hattusas' last king Shuppililuima II, and thought to have some ritual purpose.
