This is the Kings’ Gate. The one statue that remains is a copy, the original is in the Ankara museum. To see it, click on this link (you'll be able to get back): http://www.pbase.com/image/33314177
It was thought to represent a king, hence the name of the gate. Later research (the type of crown) indicate it must be a warrior god.
