it is my experience with Turkish kids it is almost impossible to take a picture without the horns appearing within seconds, it is compulsive. i do not have such experiences from Belgium or Holland (where i live). Children may do it for a laugh but not each and every time.

I have similar pictures of myself and friends when I was a child myself, and I'm Belgian...
So the 'horns' thing isn't typical Turkish...
