Fornature

I am FOR Nature, not against it!

I have been meaning to do a photo like this for a while, to hightlight the overusage of our forests and destruction that we humans are doing to this world and nature in general. This challenge provided me the final push needed to finally go ahead and do it. My idea here is: Behind every life "killed by human for their selfish wants" there is a story to be told. I some how was looking for means to portray the story, using some un spoken words. This is what I have come up with.
Note: You might have to adjust your monitors :)

Leave it to man to kill the tree then carve foliage in the carcass! Interesting Cindy

Wow!!!That is one creative thinking!!!!I open the file in Photoshop and pull the curves up.Can see all the words very clearly.Did you actually carved them???It is like veiling and exposing...Very clever!-Elena

Yes, and that's why I had mentioned as a note about the likelyhood of having to adjust the monitor. I purposely left the words that way. Thanks!!

I just saw the words in the shadows. They are not visible on the computer I was using when I typed the previous message (noncalibrated monitor in a glary location). -- Victor

There was a time when trees were not allowed to be cut, but were allowed to be used if fallen naturally. Hence the term windfall. By the way, can you describe the source of the pattern in the light area? Is that texture in the seat cushion? -- Victor
