Thanks for comments, everybody! Actually I would like to keep the shadow although I recognize the abstract potential of this. But then I would keep it in color and use a much longer focal length

I like this one a lot. It takes guts to pull strong composition out of lines that are trying to pull a shot apart. but you have done it very well indeed. Respect! Tim

Wonderful stripes and good perspective! I am not sure about your shadow in the image, I think it is not necessary, the image would be a very nice abstract pattern without it. Good detail in the snow with no blown highlights! ~Sharon
