ISO, welcome back:) Does this mean that your wife told you to bugger off? Chris

iso, two things:
1. I am glad you made it, and got an eligible entry in as well!
2. I disagree with the previous comments about the placement of the fan-blade - imo, the half obscured face and the closed eyes make this more intriguing to look at.

Phil, I've had it a week and yesterday was the first time I've used it. The shot you suggest is in the bag. A tough call, but on balance I like (and the model liked) this one as it is not quite the predictable one.

Timing, actually easier than it looks. We got several with the blades upright as this, and several with the blades framing the face left and right. I'll post them up so you can see them at some point. I think everyone would have a different viewpoint on the comparisons.

Great shot and a great idea ISO though I do agree with Phil that it would have been perfect if the blades were on either side of the face as opposed to obscuring part of it. Nevertheless, a great shot and one with lovely sepia toning.

Cheers, Vikas.

Ah, now it makes sense, you've been too busy playing with your new 5D to bother with us over here, eh?
Is there a reason here eyes are closed? And (though I'm guessing it wa deliberate) would it have been better if the fan blades had been either side of her rather than one slightly obscuring her face?
Phil
