Challenge 53 - In between (hosts: Olaf.dk & Ed Hahn)

With the theme of this challenge I hope to see some creative interpretations of 'in between'. In between is often fleeting, elusive, critical, and dynamic - therefore fascinating and worth our attention. It can be interpreted more or less literally. For example giving the front seat to the negative space between the objects in the frame - or your main subject stuck humorously in between other objects - or merely a photo taken at dawn and dusk (in between day and night) just to mention a few of the endless possibilities. Anything goes, really, as long as you can explain how your image is of 'in between'. Of course, if you need a lot of words to do this, that may be a sign of a not so strong expression of the theme. For example, a picture of a person in between jobs would not be a strong expression of the theme, unless there are some visual clues within the frame that enables the viewer to at least guess so, without having to rely on a title and/or caption.
