Simple & fun. I'd love to hear suggestions, improvements and thoughts. What do ou think?

I saw two glasses sitting on the window sill...one half full and one empty. The water refracted the light nicely changing the curvature of the shadows passing through the glass...I took some shots of boring glasses and then got these martini glasses...A blind is behind the glasses producing the lines....

Thanks so much all for the comments and compliments. I have moved the other two photos to the exhibition gallery as I like this original version best and quite a few of you have commented similarly.

I moved the other 2 images since I'm going to try and have 3 photos in each of the galleries and these martini light bending photos are too much 3 in a row I think :-)!

Thanks again all for the comments...It is snowing like mad today here...mauybe some will stick to the ground...might make for a good couple of photos....maybe?

Like this version the best... wonderful use of black and white and refractions. I like this a lot.

Best use I've seen of those ridiculous bent martini glasses. Reminds me of the dancing lamp created by Pixar.

Vikas, a comment like that comming from you means sooo much to me. Thank you! Olaf, thanks for your comments on this and the others...The original "boring" glasses were cool, then it dawned on me that I had a dozen of the z-stem martini glasses in the cabinet....so I went and got them and put them on the window sill...the rest is just a lot of different varietals of shots of the same general idea...without the z-stem the photo would be fun, but not as much fun as it is with the z-stem. Thanks both of you for taking the time to comment!
