Olaf - you'r right, these are stepping stones. The smooth portion of the image is where the surface is flat (at an incline ofcourse) and the rough rippled portion is where the water cascades down. Now for the tilt, thats the only way I could get both the reflection and stepping stones in frame without any distracting objects.
Interesting shapes and colors, but I think the tilt is a bit confusing. The scene is so abstract in itself, it is hard to see what it really is... I see it as reflections in water with stepping stones, is this correct?
