Boy does this photo trigger some memories! Before leaving Makati for the U.S. in 1970. I drove through this intersection regularly but of course it did not look like that. The Mall has replaced the Makati shopping center but the Intercon, which was across from the center, is still there. If the mall is on Makati across Ayala and to the left, both lots at that intersection were vacant in 1970. The last house we lived in was in San Lorenzo, along Pasay Road, but when I was last there in 1995 all homes in that section were gone. Progress!
