There's so much bad press surrounding my country. Not all are undeserved, obviously. But there is so much more to the Philippines than just our political problems and poverty. Let me take you on a virtual tour through some of our 7,107 islands and give you a glimpse of what I see through my viewfinder. It's a lot better than reading the papers, I'll guarantee you that.

I stumbled upon your website while looking for a real rarity, a picture of Ms. Pinky Colmenares on-line. (you managed to catch her in an unguarded moment, there was a spark of genuine feeling there) What i found is a treasure trove of great pictures. Yep, there so much more about philippines. I go there every year and I always think that whatever I spend big or small I am helping our economy. Kaya lang walang pagbabago mga tao. Kala nila pag tinapon ang basura sa ilog ito'y matutunaw na lang sa tubig. Patuloy pa rin ang pagtae nila sa ilog. Malangaw dahil dito. Hindi gobyerno ang problema, Tao ang problema kasi majority tamad sila. Kasama ako do'n. Pasig river, patay na. Malapit na ring mamatay ang taal lake. Alam ko lahat na ilog sa maynila tepok na. Oras na para gumising tayo sa masamang panaginip at magbago.

C'était il y a 20 ans et je suis toujours émerveillé comme au premier à chaque fois que je peux admirer ces instants magiques. I migrated to Canada one and a half year ago and seeing all these pictures brings me back a lot of memories expecially Makati City where I used to work for 10 years. I really enjoy looking at these pictures. Just a suggestion, Punta Fuego in Batangas also has a breathtaking view, hope you try it. Keep it up!

Brings back very fond memories of the Philippines. I've been there 5 times with my Filipino wife, to Manila areas, Bicol, and Mindanao, where we now own property and a house. Even though I've only been there a few times, I can definitely say these pictures make me homesick!

It's sad that so many people seem to make a living out of the bad stuff instead of the good things that happen. Your gallery is an inspiration.
