June 15 2004:
Old Wheels

Popped by the local miniature railway today, which is attached to a garden centre. I was quite surprised to find that its main ‘waiting room’ and roundhouse are both brand new and a small tunnel is also construction! Where did such a small operation get the money from? Something to do that with the fact that their old site is the now the McLarens car factory perhaps…..

These two old rusty wheels were by the main gate.

Photoshop:
Cropped and Resized

Framed using Pantone 365C

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel

I agree with Jeff. Also, I love how you cropped it.

You are showing us the many colors and textures of rust. They are interesting.

They are endless source of subjects for us photoholics - this is well done.

Ray, I'm impressed by your new "rusty period." Hope that does reflect how you feel about your age ;-) LOL.
Anyhow, this is an excellent study of the wheel, tightly cropped and excellent color. You were really rolling on this one!
