I didn't realise that Guildford now has, since 2015, it's own flag. It's flying atop the Guildhall, probably the town's second oldest building. Its oldest, the castle, was not flying this despite the flag showing 'a castle', although the design of that is more akin to one of those German fairytale castles than the 12th century one the town has.
Flags? In my opinion they shouldn't have bothered.
