Where Beauty Is

A simple fenceline along a country road, invited me to sit a while...

Taken on a beautiful day last fall.

Has a real dream quality. I fancy I hear insects buzzing & the grass rustling in the breeze thanks to your image ~voting.

I love the feeling of peace I get from this.

Love this shot. That is quite a fence.

Ahh, just what I need right now, a nice peaceful warm photo to cheer up the cold grey days in the UK :-( I can just imagine brushing through that lovely soft looking meadow grass :-) Great piece of fencing.

Char, Bon and John... thank you for the generous comments. Sweet little spot it was, to soak in some fields, sky and find simple, quiet beauty. Rare for me...a city dweller.:-)
John, interesting you asked about the fence. That's what stopped me, The fence began where I sat just past the left, it ended in those trees...no structures around, but perhaps a km or so down the road there was a cottage-like home.

Very well done - great sight line and fine, warm feeling with the soft grasses. I'm intrigued by the fence - what would require that odd, over-built design, I wonder. John

Carol, it's beckoning to me to
rest a bit. Beautiful spot and the
b&w fits the mood perfectly. Love the
grasses and wild flowers, nice contrast
to that old fence. A timeless quality here.
