Thanks a lot, Melanie and Shu, for your benevolent words! When I entered the series yesterday I gave it a title that implied (or rather stated) an answer to your question, Shu; then, I decided to change the title(s) and let those of you guess who might think of "self portraits" when they see these images; no prize foreseen, though, for those who guess right, sorry! BTW: In case this *were* me, I'd definitely like to know what "the look of a professor" means in your book: compliment or insult?? ;-)) db.
