Red Gerberas
by dawn

I know we've seen alot of gerberas lately, but they are so beautiful
and these were such a lovely shade of fire engine red, and since I
had a new macro lens sitting at home, I couldn't resist. Framed as
shown--no cropping--very little PS work--but it is in sRGB.

Do you EVER take a bad pic? These are beautiful, such rich texture on the petals.

Those petals look fabulous, like velvet. Nice job, so beautifully sharp!

Lovely reds - I like the almost wax-like texture

I could see that your light is coming from the right side and it's taking away from the green stems. Other than that it's a beautiful shot.

I love this! We only get Gerberas here at this time of year, so I take lots of photos of them now.... :) These are lovely. They have such expressive stems.
