13th - Cuppa

Cheltenham, Glos.

The convenience of the so-so tea-bag vs. the far superior taste but phaffing-about-with-leaves-and-strainers-oh-bugger!-I've-blocked-the-sink-again of loose tea...always a dilemma at brekkie time, or at any time for that matter

It's in the bag. Great shot.

Excellent work, it really IS a dilemma.

Great juxtaposition ! But a lot better teas not in a bag !

I love tea leaves but I always use tea bags :) Too much mess!!! A wonderful idea for the challenge and an excellent photo Doug!! V

What would the Earl say? I'm not a Tea fan but I am a fan of this shot, great choice of Matt background.

Tija...that´s really a though choice for you! I use a tea egg! :)

So glad I drink coffee & not have to mess about with tea... but great shot!

Superb shot, Doug! Great subject too, as I am tea junkie :-) Real tea is superior to tea bags, but (sigh), the convenience of the latter.... V

Orange Pekoe for me! This certainly is clever!

I've got the answer...drink coffee & put the dregs on your garden:) Nice looking shot, Doug.

Well done. I could use a warm cuppa.

It's a great composition and thought-provoking. I don't remember when I last had a loose-leaf cup of tea. Always the expedience of the teabag wins.

This is not juxta cuppa... :o)
Bernard Davis13-Mar-2010 21:54
Excellent image, much too long since we had 'real' tea.
Kathryn13-Mar-2010 21:40
The 'phaffing' around tea every time, my favourite is a rose-petal blend from 'Betty's tea-rooms'. Next pbase meet in Harrogate I'll treat you to one.
Stephanie13-Mar-2010 21:38
Now we're talking juxta Doug! Love this shot ~ your lighting & compo are great. I prefer Earl Grey please. V

We've become big 'real' tea fans in our house - you can get a sort of sieve which
sits inside the teapot that makes it mess-free.
Great lighting in this shot BTW
