Altered as suggested - desaturated, cropped and increased contrast (Curves and Levels)

Still can't do anything about the point of focus though :o)

I like what you have done, Doug. Looking at this ( original image ) I think you could attempt many different crops & still have a great shot.

I think this is better, interesting seeing how it just seems to change dramatically, with the cropped edge, making it feel much longer.

Have you tried a vertical crop about where that paint drip is by the second lock from the left, taking the first door out completely? I think it's a shame you had to lose the rest of the plant at bottom right - it made a very good bit of contrast but I can't work out how you could keep it in! :((

Yes, I think this is much better now, no more green at the right side to stop the eye. As for the focus... okay, but it's a nice range of shapes and texture here.
