Jay at our feeder

This is the first decent shot I've been able to take around my house. The next door lot has been turned into a next door neighbor
over the past nine months and all the activity has scared most of the wildlife away. No deer or squirrels and very few birds.

For those interested, notice this is shot at 800iso at 200mm with the 70-200/4IS L.
This is a crop and despite that, even at this high iso,
I think it turned out quite sharp! A testament to the fine IQ of this lens and the
low-noise of the 30D. One other thing - this was hand-held using IS. Anyone who tells you IS
isn't great either isn't using it or is not using it correctly. It won't stop
subject movement, but man, it sure makes it easy to use a longer lens.
