The Natchez Trace Parkway is a 444 mile long parkway that runs from Natzhez, MS to Nashville, TN. Speed limit is 50 and no trucks are allowed.
Construction was begun by the federal government in the 1930s. The road is maintained by the National Park Service, and has been designated an All-American Road. It commemorates the original Natchez Trace Trail which is a very old trail traveled by many early Americans as well as the Chickasaw, Choctaw, and Natchez Indians.
