This is Gabby's father. A handsome dark horse like his father. He's been at the university for 2 years but I'm not sure how or why he was donated to the school. Perhaps someone reading this knows the story. It was hard to get a good shot of him since the fencing is tight and tall.

On a personal note, I had the good fortune to visit Seattle Slew when he was standing at stud at Three Chimneys Farm in Louisville. Finding the farm's number in the phonebook upon arriving in town, I called them and asked if I could come visit Slew. They said I was very welcome to come visit. They said, "Come in the morning and sign the guest book and someone will lead you down to his barn."
He was housed in a beautiful building along with Slew O' Gold, 2 keepers, and a dalmation dog. A very special visit I'll always remember.
