Arizona's bloodiest cabin claimed 21 lives.
Frederick Brunckow built it in 1858 while he was working nearby silver claims.
He was the first to die when Mexican workers put a drill through his chest and threw him down a mine shaft.
Most of the others were killed before 1880.
On a personal note: It took 3 trips to Tombstone to locate these ruins. It was well worth the effort to finally find it.
Looking at the condition it's in today, I wonder how much longer the ruins will be visible.
Rangers at the courthouse in Tombstone indicated there were no plans at the present time to preserve the remaining ruins.
