The Charleston Road runs between Tombstone and Sierra Vista. This old highway bridge is only for walking now. That's the San Pedro River flowing under it.
On Dec. 12, 1846 while the Mormon Battalion was passing through on its way to Tucson and eventually to San Diego, it was attacked by a herd of bulls. Hence this spot is known as the the Battle of the Bulls at The Narrows.
