Opened in 1965, The Tack Room was Tucson's very first 5 Star restaurant. In its early years, it was the most expensive dining experience in all of Arizona.
The restaurant closed in 2000 and the land was cleared to make room for a new housing development.
The owners say the famous boot will always remain in its original location standing tall on the edge of Sabino Canyon Road.
