The Shady Dell started back in 1927 when it provided camping room and trailers for travelers using the Historic Highway 80 that ran from San Diego to Savannah, Georgia.
Some of the trailers that are available for renting today are a 1949 Airstream, 1950 Spartanette, and a 1951 Royal Mansion. Many of the units have original black and white televsions and phonographs.
