St. Pat's, a Gothic Revival structure that is a copy of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Whitehaven, England, opened in 1917 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Many of the men coming to the mining camps in Bisbee were of Irish and Welsh descent so this church went up quickly. The man who donated the land for the building had only 2 requests: That the church face the mountains and his mine.
The 41 stained glass windows in the church were designed and created by Emil Frei.
