This was the first building in Tucson to have a facade of buff-colored, California pressed brick. It had a gym, bowling alley, billiards room, library, restaurant, rooftop pergola, and garden.
The club was founded in 1907 as a "gentlemen's club", was a place where the city top influential businessmen could meet regularly to socialize and do business. Charles Lindbergh, Buffalo Bill Cody, John Wayne, Teddy Roosevelt and William Howard Taft were all guests.
Designed by D.H. Holmes in 1907 and remodeled in 1932 by Roy Place.
