Having waited for them to meander into Oatman for their daily visit, we decided to take a drive out of town and there they were! Just sunning themselves and relaxing and greeting passing cars.
These wild burros, who are descendants of the original miners' burros, are a fixture in Oatman and freely roam the streets and sidewalks.
