Most of the wharves and piers in Pyrmont which once served large cargo and passenger ships have now been converted to commercial or recreational use. Many of them have been so radically gutted and rebuilt that they hardly bear any resemblance to what they looked like when they were originally in use.
However wharves 19 to 21 preserve the flavour of what the wharves looked like back in their glory days, even if many of the materials have been renewed.
The vestiges of the railway lines which once ran down to the dockside can be seen on the left.
(And yes, I'm aware of linear distortion. I elected not to fix it in this case because I liked the effect that it created. Your mileage may vary.)
