"My name isn't Sam Tyler. I didn't have an accident, and I haven't woken up in 1973 but HAVE woken up in the middle of a dust-storm which turned everything red and prevented me from seeing more than a few metres ahead of me. Am I mad, in a coma, or in outer space? Whatever's happened, it's like I've landed on a different planet. Now, maybe if I can work out the reason and find a huge honking great high powered torch, I can get home."
23 September 2009; incredibly strong westerly winds pick up huge volumes of red dust, sweep it across the Western Plains, and dump it on Sydney. Somewhere out there is a harbour with boats and buildings on the other side of it. If you look really, really close, you may be able to spot some of them.
