Dawn at Table Mountain

Capetown, South Africa

***Best in Original Size***

I have read many times that the ancient seafarers found their arrival at Capetown to be exhilarating - not only for
the next days of relief from being in the southern seas, but for the astonishing first glimpses of Table Mountain.
I knew that to be true when I was on deck as my ship sailed towards the berth before dawn on a chilly
April morning. The mountain appeared over the horizon and grew large - a sleeping giant. The sun
then joined in the welcome, and by the time we had docked, we early risers had been greeted to this
imposing mountain awaking again for a day under the brilliant South African light - and as ancient guardian
of the city of Capetown, South Africa. What a view. More about Capetown and Table Mountain HERE

As this is a Film Doublet, you will have to make your own visual arrangements to create a panorama.

However, I have made a rough panoramic composite if you wish to see it. Click HERE
