***Best in Original Size***
After two years living north of 50 degrees North, and enduring cold, wet and dark winters,
this Aussie was more than a little happy with the first port of call out of Europe. The big
blue skies and more arid climate of the Canary Islands, at only 28 degrees North latitude
and 60 miles off the African coast, was a welcome sight for my dulled eyes and dampened senses.
The land mass may have been relatively small, but the climate was immeasurably more
welcoming to a boy from the sub-outback of Australia. On that fine April day, it wasn't only the
native bird named after the islands that was whistling for joy at another sun drenched big blue sky day.
As this is a Film Doublet, you will need to make your own visual adjustments for a panoramic image.
