These 'doublets' are images from successive, uncropped, negatives, scanned as one piece.
They are from 35mm, 126, 35mm Half Frame, 6x6, and 6x9 negatives or positives.
Many are from the 1960s and 1970s, although this gallery will include more recent, and current, images. The earlier images
are often from those exposed on Agfa CN17 colour negative film; an unusual color film without the orange dye base. Accordingly,
it is somewhat miserable to scan, and these images in particular have been left as they are, complete with spots and stains
and dust. Later color film is mostly Kodak, with no such problem.
The 'doublets' have not been cropped, post-processed, or otherwise manipulated,
except for sharpening after scanning - to bring the scanned image back to its original condition.
In many cases, the antiquity of the subjects blends nicely with the aged look or patina of the images.
