It was worth going out! Lovely winter landscape.

I am seeing so much of the northern winter. This is another superb image. I can almost feel the cold (except it's 35C here)

For a busy shot this really works. The tough of blues in the snow are nice too...

Doug Cruden09-Jan-2010 19:19
Brrrr.....that really is a winter's scene!
Guest 09-Jan-2010 18:11
interesting compo, I think it could have been improved slightly by darkening the image, to get more detail in the snow that goes across the image.
Nicki Thurgar09-Jan-2010 18:01
A familiar scene all round the countryside... oh, so pretty though!
lisamidi09-Jan-2010 17:59

The thumbnail looks great. For some reason the stylesheet only shows half of the image (and the next below) when i go to view them on my Blackberry. This is happening on a couple of others too in the last 24 hours. Pbase must be fiddling around again.

Sure looks cold and snowy in merry old England.
So pretty. :^)

Nice line that takes the eye across this scene. Doesn't seem to be getting any warmer
